Boom Boom... Seriously? Wow

Well, last night was some sort of sporting event that people watched. I don't know, it might be a big deal or something. Unfortunately, there isn't much in the fashion department for me to comment on since the teams all just wore green and yellow and black and some tight pants. I was, in a word, bored.

But then this happened:

Thank you, Fergie. Now let's all discuss this fabulously ridiculous getup. It's obviously football-inspired, but I'm not sure what Fergie needs all the armor and padding for. Maybe, as my friend Trina suggested, it's so no one could rip pieces of it off and create a wardrobe malfunction. Got to keep those girls covered up and secure from any JTs that might come by and rip off her clothes. If it didn't have padding, I could have actually gotten behind a sparkly football outfit for halftime. I mean, I'd still hate it, but just not as much. What do y'all think? And can we all agree that the halftime show was the worst thing ever?


And can we also agree that this commercial is fabulous? It seriously made me cry. Detroit Pride! This is the Motor City, and this is what we do.
