Since I became a housewife, I've become a really big fan of the transition tee. Give me a little puff sleeve or a little applique and I'm in casual cute housewife heaven. But after spending 3 years in a law firm, my closet is really really lacking on tees. I have like 2. So I've been picking up a few here and there lately.
I saw this plain, but cute, tee from See by Chloe on theoutnet.com the other day and I thought, hey, why not order it. I can barely find a $30 tee at Ann Taylor Loft, so this was super reasonably priced. I had to this point never ordered from theoutnet.com because I'm generally in the camp of "If it's on super sale, then there's something super wrong with it." And just this once I put my non-super sale rule on hold because I thought, hey, it's a t-shirt. The picture looks super straight forward. Plain lavendar tee. No big deal.

And then it arrived, and to my supreme confusion it was
way too wide and way too short. Who on earth was it meant to fit? In the words of my friend Kim, "It's like a belly shirt for an obese person." Yeah, it definitely got sent back immediately. I only wish I had taken a picture of it on before I packed it up, y'all would have been super entertained. Drats!
Verdict: I will definitely not be shopping at The Outnet again.
