SAG Awards 2012: Viola Davis

Viola Davis in Marchesa

Oh, Vi-oh-la-la.  She looked AMAZING.  Once again let me reiterate how much I love and covet her arms.  And that white dress is such a great contrast against her lovely skin.

SAG Awards 2012: Tilda Swinton

Tilda Swinton in Lanvin

Oh, Tilda. What has become of you? This dress is positively... boring.  Not what I've come to expect from you.

SAG Awards 2012: Rose Byrne

Rose Byrne in Elie Saab Couture

I have a super girl crush on Rose Byrne. I think she's gorgeous.  And she is rocking the hell out of those bangs.  I think the look is out there, but I like to reward risk taking.  The color works on her, and the jumpsuit fits well, and she went minimal with the accessories which was smart with such a bold look.  I think I really like it...

SAG Awards 2012: Julie Bowen

Julie Bowen in Temperley London

I love the color, and I think I'd have liked it on someone else... Angelina Jolie maybe? But it looks silly on Julie Bowen somehow.  Especially with that hair and that weird posing face she's making.

SAG Awards 2012: Shailene Woodley

Shailene Woodley in L'Wren Scott
OMG WHY?????  This is like a super sad 7th grade formal dress with a little extra glitter.  Why would you do this for your big movie breakout year? So sad.

SAG Awards 2012: Kyra Sedgwick

Kyra Sedgwick in Pucci

I was going to love this look. The hair is perfect. The color is perfect.  The dress fits her perfectly.  But if it weren't for that cutout I'd never have known about the gross side tattoo Ms. Sedgwick is sporting. Gross!

C

SAG Awards 2012: Jayma Mays

Jayma Mays in Reem Acra

Her hair looks so bad! Like she hadn't washed it in a few days and had a big workout that morning. Gross.

Oh and the dress is fine.

SAG Awards 2012: Kaley Cuoco

Kaley Cuoco in Romona Keveza

A few ladies rocked braids on the red carpet, and I have to say, I'm down with it.  It's interesting and keeps your hair out of your face.  Well, not really with this look, but I like it anyway.  And the sea foam dress is perfectly princessy.  Just what I'd expect from the b-list star.  Didn't wow me, but perfectly pretty.

SAG Awards 2012: Lea Michele

Lea Michele switched the over exposure from her breasts to her legs.  Seriously, with the right gust of wind, we'd see some lady bits for sure.

B-

SAG Awards 2012: Naya Rivera

Naya Rivera in Naeem Khan

THANK YOU, Naya! For redeeming yourself for that atrocity you wore at the Globes.  Your hair is perfectly tousled.  THat dress is just the right amount of slinky.  Just the right amount of sparkle.  I love the ice blue.  Wonderful.

A

SAG Awards 2012: Octavia Spencer

Octavia Spencer in Tadashi Shoji

I love Tadashi on a curvy woman.  He does a really good job (I myself have a couple of his dresses).  But this dress falls sort of flat for me.  I think it's the color.  Just too dull for Ms. Spencer's skin tone.

B

SAG Awards 2012: Sofia Vergara

Sofia Vergara in Marchesa

There's looking sexy and there's looking vulgar.  It can sometimes be a rather fine line, and here Sofia Vergara crossed it.  There's just too much cleavage and looks vulgar.  Maybe on someone less chesty this would have been a pretty dress.

C

SAG Awards 2012: Jessica Chastain

I had decided I really liked Jessica Chastain after seeing her in The Help and... something else, but then she wears something like this.  That top is barely containing her bosom.  I do not approve.

D

SAG Awards 2012: Julianna Marguiles

Julianna Marguiles in Calvin Klein

It's clear to me now.  Julianna Marguiles has been put on this earth to torment my existence.  There is no other explanation for such a pretty, talented actress wearing horror after horror on the red carpet. Though, I will say, this is the best thing I've seen her in in 4 years.  Not that that's saying a lot.

D

Why Does She Do This?

Busy Phillips is a pretty girl, but yet she thinks she needs to wear THIS RIDICULOUSNESS on the red carpet.

Also, why does Kristen Wig have that choker on?  Gross.

F

SAG Awards 2012: Ariel Winter

Ariel Winter in Colette Dinnigan

Let's all pause for a moment to applaud Miss Ariel Winter for not baring her breasts on the red carpet, and for wearing something cute and fun, befitting her age.  The color is a bit sad, but the length and detail work for her.  Good job, Ariel.

B

SAG Awards 2012: Kelly Osbourne

Kelly Osbourne in Badgley Mischka and Dena Kemp Palladium Diamond Bubble Ring

Kelly redeemed herself post stiff-mermaid-alien-dress and wore this much smoother cream gown.  Once again be-sleeved, but these are just so much more feminine and flattering on her.  I love me some Marchesa.  I just am not sold on that tassel business.  I do like the belt detail around her waist, it breaks up the dress really well, but the tassels just bother me.

A-

SAG Awards 2012: Michelle Williams

Michelle Williams in Valentino

This is one of those sad scroll-down dresses.  I looked at the top and really loved it.  The delicate red lace sleeves are adorable (though the one shoulder strap thing is odd), and it fits her so well. And then I looked down and went "OMG WHAT IS HAPPENING???!! WHY???!!!!"  Yeah, that's basically how I feel.  The asymmetrical hem, the chunky red sandals.  Gross.

B-

SAG Awards 2012: Emily Blunt

Emily Blunt in Oscar de la Renta

I super love these two together, and I really like Emily Blunt, but this dress is boring me to death.  It's so dull and chiffony-flimsy.  Yes, I just made that up.

C

SAG Awards 2012: Stacy Keibler

Stacy Keibler in Marchesa

Stacy Keibler may be a nobody, but, damn, she is killing it on the red carpet.  And she better, George Clooney's arm candy has to look just as good as he does.  This simple black lace dress is a stunner.
