Celebrity Claire Danes “Today” show in New York City

Celebrity Gossip - She’s been a busy girl as of late, and this morning (December 16) Claire Danes was spotted at the “Today” show in New York City.

The “My So-Called Life” actress was in the house to talk about her Showtime program “Homeland” and collect toys for charity.

During her interview on “The View” yesterday (December 15), Claire was caught off-guard when co-host Whoopi Goldberg cut a loud fart.

"Excuse me, I just let a frog out of there," Whoopi announced. "It's okay," Danes replied before quickly moving on to the next question of her interview.

The Latisse spokeswoman displayed her creepily crazy lashes along with a creepily crazy sequined gown at the Emmys. The patchwork makes her look like a hobo, more than her shilling for an eyelash growing serum already does. Are you so hard up that you had to raid the scraps bin at Mood to piece together your gown for the night? So sad.

I was all set to love this dress and call it my favorite look of the night (seriously, I am v. in love with the cascading flowers) but then I saw Claire tug on it. And then she did again. And again. People, if you are going strapless, you are NOT ALLOWED TO TUG ON IT ALL NIGHT. Nothing makes you look stupider than pulling up your strapless dress all night. If you're doing that, it doesn't fit right. It was very disappointing to see her struggling with holding it up all night. Also disappointing? That lipstick choice. Ick.

I actually do enjoy the simplicity of many of Calvin Klein's gowns, but this one was just a shade too boring and a shade too bubblegum for my taste. The color was a little more iridescent and strange on tv. I do like the soft hair and makeup with the dress though.

And, unrelated, all I can ever think of when I see Claire Danes are those eyelash commercials she does. Am I alone on that?
