Few were stunned to see the 25-year-old "Mean Girls" star baring all, but the other names on Playboy's photo roster might surprise readers. From more obvious names like Kim Kardashian and Charlize Theron to more shocking ones like a barely-legal Drew Barrymore, here are ten surprising stars who've posed nude for Playboy Magazine.

1. Kim Kardashian

Kardashian, 31, regrets posing for Playboy photos back in 2007, but not for the reasons you might think. "After the fact, I said, 'I wish I hadn't done Playboy then' because I wasn't in the best shape of my life," she told Allure magazine. "I lost about 15 pounds, and I feel so proud. I look back and say, 'Oh, my God, I was so heavy then.'"

2. Kim Basinger

Unlike Charlize Theron, who sued Playboy for publishing her nude photos, Basinger has always been grateful for the exposure she got from her Playboy spread in 1983. Then 30, the new Bond Girl of "Never Say Never Again" credits the naked photo shoot for getting her the publicity needed to nab better movie roles.

3. Mimi Rogers

Though few may remember the 1993 Playboy spread, few who know of the voluptous Mimi Rogers would be surprised to learn that she posed naked, or that she has no regrets. The actress has appeared unabashedly nude in several major film roles, including being naked for almost all of the 1995 film "Full Body Massage."

4. Charlize Theron

Back when the Hollywood star was still making a name for herself, Charlize Theron posed for a nude photo series, which were then published by Playboy in 1999. Theron's movie career was just taking off, and the celebrity sued, claiming the nude photos were published without her consent.

5. La Toya Jackson

Despite her sister Janet being the one to have a "wardrobe malfunction" at the 2004 Superbowl, it was La Toya Jackson who chose to strip down for a Playboy spread in 1989 and again in 1991. Unable to land a mega-successful career like Janet or Michale Jackson, La Toya used the Playboy spread to break away from her father and manager Joseph and (later) to promote her autobiography.

6. Suzzane Somers

Like Charlize Theron, Somers' nude photos in Playboy Magazine have always been a sore subject for the "Three's Company" star. When Playboy published its 1980 issue, the photos were from ten years earlier, when Somers was just 22 years old, and the TV star lost her position as a spokeswoman for Ace Hardware.

7. Bo Derek

Bo Derek has appeared a whopping five times on the cover of Playboy magazine, with her first nude photo shoot in 1980. Most people today, however, know Derek as a prominent Christian conservative who campaigned for George W. Bush in both 2000 and 2004.

8. Drew Barrymore

It's not that shocking that Hollywood's wild child would pose nude for Playboy magazine. What is surprising? that the 19-year-old was barely legal when Playboy shot the photo spread in 1995. After hearing about his former "E.T." star's naked pictures, director Steven Spielberg reportedly sent Drew Barrymore a quilt, with a note that read, "Cover yourself up."

9. Joan Collins

Collins was almost 50 years old when she went nude for Playboy, but the "Dynasty" star still opted to bare all in a 12-page spread for the magazine in 1983. The accompanying title? "50 is Beautiful."

10. Patti Davis

President Ronald Reagan's daughter was anything but the image of her GOP legend father when she stripped naked for Playboy in 1994, just six years after her dad left office. Then 42, the onetime addict told More magazine just this year that the shoot was less to shock her uber-conservative parents than to validate the miracle that she was still alive after years of drug problems. "This was my victory lap," Davis said. "This was standing naked in front of the world when it was a miracle that I was even still in the world."

What's Real and What's Silver?

Singing, dancing and acting may not be her thing....so why did 4.7 million fans (including my coworkers and I) tune in this August for the premiere of this season's Keeping Up With The Kardashians? Perhaps we want to see the sense of reality or normalcy that we don't get to see on the airbrushed and perfectly positioned pictures we compare ourselves to. It is the same reason why we buy gossip magazines...our little guilty treasures. We want to see cellulite and stretch marks and bad hair days! Be honest: it makes you feel better about yourself. This is especially true when we see celebrities having injections done and plastic surgeries. Celebrity news shows often enlist the help of Dr Walden to decide who has had what done so the public can see what plastic surgeons see.

Now, that said, the Kardashian show has as many fans as it does because we feel they are being real with us. Kourtney has had breast implants and she openly talks about it. So why does Kim deny having any breast-related surgeries and more importantly are we being cheated? In this W spread, everything seems to be out in the open and quite shiny and silver. To those who watch the show, we know that Kim turned down a nude shot for Playboy. So why did she then pose nude for W? Maybe it is because the silver paint is hiding signs of breast implants. To the untrained eye this might be true but take a closer look!  In the picture, the shading of the silver paint as it reflects off the flashes of the camera shows that Kim could be dealing with change in breast shape due to her implants. It's called capsular contracture and it occurs when excessive scar tissue forms around the implant and tightening occurs. Large, heavy implants placed in the subglandular position (instead of under the muscle of the breastbone) can more frequently end up looking tight and misshape the breast (causing tissue stretch and indentation in the skin). Could this be what we are seeing this on the inner aspect of the left breast more than the right in the W photo?

So, Kim, just tell us all! We promise to still like you and most of us will like you more if you come clean. We know that you were blessed with a derriere of extreme proportions. We know that it must have been hard being so un-proportioned and you wanted to be more balanced. We all want the same thing and we are some even have plastic surgeons to help us out. We are not born perfect...especially since we all have a different idea of what perfection is. The important thing is that we can be happy and we can get the look we want with a little help from our friends with steady hands and skills with the scalpel. What do you think?

Kim Kardashian Talks Botox

Airing this past Sunday, Kim Kardashian under went Botox� treatments to her crowsfeet around her eyes on Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Kardashian who probably is no stranger to plastic surgery procedures had a mild meltdown about the bruising that occurred under her eyes from the product.

As a result of a flood of attention and emails from America, Kardashian released this statement on her blog:

�I�ve been getting lots of emails and comments regarding the botox episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians so I wanted to address this today to clear some things up.

On the show you saw I had some bruising around my eyes after the procedure, which is totally natural, but because I hadn�t looked into the side effects, I freaked out. In no way was Dr. Kassabian a bad doctor� it wasn�t a botched job at all!!

I am not against botox, and I would never judge anyone else for getting any kind of surgical or non surgical procedure, but I think when you�re young there are other ways you can look after your skin, and some amazing products on the market, like Fusion Beauty�s Illumifill, that help keep you looking young and beautiful. Botox just wasn�t necessary for me at this age.�

Besides the obvious paid product placement, I feel Kardashian handled the matter well. She admitted she didn�t appropriately prepare and that she over-reacted.

My money still is on that shell go back for another syringe though!

Erika Freaks Out in the SpIN Crowd About Lip Augmentation

The Spin Crowd is a new "reality" show on E! starring Jonathan Cheban, the owner of Command PR. The show is formally known as The Spindustry, although nobody seems to care that the show produced by Kim Kardashian suddenly resurfaced with a new name.

Well last night Cheban ordered his first year associate Erika Ledesma to get dermal fillers in her lips and he even went as far as to pay for the procedure and set up the appointment.

In case you didn't see the show, Ledesma CRIED about a. having her boss tell her she needed to enhance her lips and b. after, during and before her procedure about the devastating transformation she was making to have to keep her job.

Well hunny, if you want to play ball in the big leagues, you gotta step up to the plate.

As someone who's had numerous lip fillers injected I can say it certainly doesn't make you unrecognizable.

I think her attitude towards the procedure and Cheban's suggestion was childish, there's no difference from putting on some spanks to squeeze into an Alice + Olivia dress than to get a little filler in your lips. You're still using outside measures to achieve a "more desirable look" that society has established.

So grow up girl, but thanks for the dermal filler PR (any press is good press as Im sure Cheban knows) and Im sure Restylane and Juvederm appreciate the product placement!

A Nose By Any Other Name.....

Dr. Walden was recently quoted on celebrity news site HollywoodLife.com, discussing the many possible plastic surgery procedures of Kim Kardashian. Now Ms. Kim is no stranger to our blog....we have discussed her famous curves in many of our posts. The article brings up a topic that has crossed my mind numerous times in the last months....Kim's face seems to be changing daily. When you look at pictures from editorial shoots as well as paparazzi it is amazing how different her face looks from year to year. Our own Dr. Walden had this to say of her ever changing face:

�It appears that Kim has undergone a rhinoplasty, or a nose job, to make her nose look straighter and the tip more narrow and refined,� NYC-based surgeon Dr. Jennifer Walden tells HollywoodLife.com. �She also looks as if she may have had Botox to her forehead to help it appear smooth, and fillers like Restalyne or Juvederm to the nasolabial folds (laugh lines) and possibly even the lips � although I think genetics has dictated her full lips for the most part!� she added.

It states in the article that they think she is starting to look "plastic".....I don't necessarily feel that way at this point. That being said she is such a BEAUTIFUL young woman that I would hate to see her end up in Heidi Montag land. I think she looks amazing and if she has gone under the knife she should stop while she is ahead. It would be a shame to do anything else to such a natural beauty. So, keep it up Kim we think you look wonderful as you are!

OK! Magazine Teaser About Celebrity Plastic Surgery Secrets Revealed!

So I must confess I started subscribing to OK! Magazine because of Bethenny Frankel�s new column Bethenny Dishes, but I have been pleasantly surprised to find that the magazine has turned out very reliable and satisfying for celebrity plastic surgery gossip.

Coming out tomorrow, Thursday, May 27, 2010 Kendra Wilkinson Baskett (The Girls Next Door), Kim Kardashian (Keeping Up with the Kardashians) and Audrina Patridge (The Hills) will be the magazine cover celebrities enticing their cover story about the plastic surgery secrets the stars don�t want their fans to know about!

Frank Ryan, M.D., Beverly Hills, (known mostly as Heidi Montag�s surgeon) said that celebrities will gush about their procedures and doctors to their fellow A-list friends, however, they �don�t want anyone to know� (ie their fans) that their perfection does not in fact come from exercise, a healthy diet and good genetics. �There�s a myth to maintain, that they�re special, just naturally beautiful,� he says in the article.

Here in the office Alix, Olivia and I are dying in anticipation about what sort of gossip OK! is going to reveal tomorrow, and as usual, we will read, research and report back for you all!

Kim Kardashian:Completely Plastic?

Kim Kardashian was spotted in New York for Fashion Week. Many people noticed Kardashian looking quite different than before. It appears that she may have gone under the knife and received slight to medium cosmetic surgery-or has a make-up artist with special powers. Rumors are circulating that she has either gone under the knife or has had botox injections. Well, whatever Kardashian is doing I hope she doesn't go too overboard on cosmetic procedures as she is still quite young and has a pretty face, we wouldn't want her to look like she's made from wax.- I don't want to see her end up as one of Plastic Surgery's Worst Mistakes in the future.

Kim Kardashian: "They're real!"

Recent rumors have spread about reality star, Kim Kardashian. Known for her voluptuous body and TV reality series, "Keeping up with the Kardashian's", Kim's life has been under constant watch and scrutiny. This time, instead of ignoring the rumors, Kim has decided to go fourth and defend herself with some back up.

A related article printed in amNewYork magazine shows the actress fighting back. Kim posted a picture on her blog of herself looking rather endowed at the tender age of 14. She also was quoted saying, "I hope after seeing this you guys will never ask me a plastic surgery question again. I have had a size C since I was 11 years old!"

"Regarding her most famous asset,her behind Kardashian wrote, "All the butt implant rumors are just so not true and now just silly to me." Kardashian said she would never get lip injections or fix her nose, but she'll "definitely get a lift" after she has kids. "Until then I rely on a great supportive bra. LOL!"

No matter what, real or not, I think Kim looks great! Besides all the haters out there we forget the millions of fans that would die to look like her.
